Quick5 began with frustration, Chinese Food, and finally a solution.

It all began a few years ago on a cold January evening here in Edmonton. Our future founder sadly discovered his favourite Chinese Food Take-Out restaurant was closed for renovations.

So now in a panic, before leaving the office that evening. He quickly scrambled to find his print directory to track down another take-out place close to home. It took him a little over 20 min after ransacking his entire office looking for his directory only to discover later a co worker conveniently borrowed it and didn’t tell him.

So getting smart and trying not to let his emotions get the best of him. He quickly did an online search for “South Edmonton Chinese Food Take-out.” With very little success, he decided trying one of the well known online search directories. After two failed attempts at proximity search fill out forms. He finally said enough! There must be an easier way to search for business’s online and now and here it is!

After “Pioneering” what is now reffered to as “Featured Five Area Advertising” Quick5.com was born!
